A new oceanic challenge at the horizon for the Armare products: the Mini 6.50 skippered by Cedric Faron. In collaboration with the distributor for France Gremco, Armare is completing the supply of all the running rigging for the new Mini 6.50 class actually in the final stages of construction at the shipyard Prepa Nautic in La Rochelle, architect Etienne Bertrand, with delivery expected by the end of February 2016. The Ofcet 6:50 yacht is the most recent among the various Mini out there and is certainly also one of the most efficient, as evidenced by the placement of the model in the first two positions during the last edition of the Mini Transat 2015.
Cedric Faron ha come principale obiettivo agonistico la partecipazione ai massimi livelli alla Mini Transat 2017. 32 anni di Tolone, Faron ha lavorato per ben 14 anni in marina ed ora sta compiendo il grande passo verso la vela oceanica, con un percorso di avvicinamento che prevede la partecipazione a varie regate in doppio e singolo su imbarcazioni dai 32 ai 50 piedi. Nello sviluppo del progetto Cedric Feron ha già stabilito rapporti di collaborazione con due personaggi di spicco del panorama della vela oceanica, come il coach Jean Saucet e il conosciutissimo meteorologo Jean-Yves Bernot, che lo aiuteranno nel progresso che per il 2016 prevede già la partecipazione a tutte le regate del circuito Mini in Atlantico e Mediterraneo, per poi tornare a Tolone i primi mesi del 2017 e completare la preparazione nuovamente a La Rochelle in vista della Transat di Settembre 2017.
Cedric Faron has as its main objective the participation at the highest levels to the Mini Transat 2017. 32 years old from Toulon, Faron has worked for 14 years in the Navy and now is taking the plunge into the ocean sailing, with a program which provides participation in various regattas in double and single helm on 32 to 50 foot boats. In the development of his project, Cedric Feron has already established cooperative relationships with two leading figures of the panorama of ocean sailing, as the coach Jean Saucet and the world famous meteorologist Jean-Yves Bernot, which will help him in the progress that for 2016 already provides the participation to all the circuit races Mini in the Atlantic and Mediterranean, then return to Toulon in the first months of 2017 and complete the preparation again in La Rochelle in view of the Transat in September 2017.
