The adventure goes on for Armare Ropes, as official supplier to Emirates Team New Zealand’s 36th America’s Cup defence.
Armare Ropes is glad to announce that the partnership as official supplier to Emirates Team New Zealand goes on. Armare products will be used again on board of the New Zealanders’ boat during both preliminaries/development and the 36th edition of America’s Cup, i.e. the most antique international competition, top of yachting. As a matter of fact, Armare Ropes’ position as official supplier has been reconfirmed, exactly as for the previous edition concluded with the New Zealanders’ amazing victory.
The best teams, introduced by the most prestigious Yacht Clubs worldwide, have already started developing the projects aimed for the new AC75 boats, in the making of World Series races that start in the Mediterranean Sea in fall 2019. America’s Cup will continue its preliminaries with further events in North America and Asia, will then skip to Auckland New Zealand for the Christmas Race and the very important Challenger Selection and conclude these preliminaries at the Prada Cup challenge in January/February 2021. At Prada Cup the challenger among all will be determined, that will dispute the 36th, America’s Cup against the Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, in March 2021.
The whole running rigging for the new mono-hull sailing hydrofoil boats will be branded ‘’Armare Ropes’’. Said running rigging will be manufactured putting together Armare Ropes’ experience and professionalism with the specific requests brought forward by Emirates Team New Zealand. The continuing partnership with Emirates Team New Zealand proves once more what a high technological quality level Armare Ropes reached and furthermore strengthens its technical knowledge, offering Armare Ropes’ technicians the opportunity to develop unique custom-made products and to transfer the technology to the standard production products.
